Oh sooo cute

My newest obsession, besides my son, is ugly dolls. I've been wanting to document what Bean does in a journal since he was born, but never got around to buying one. The other night my parents, Bean and I went to Barnes and Noble and I found the perfect one! The outside of the journal is fuzzy as if it was made out of polarfleece. I had seen ugly dolls before at the comic book store Dam liked to visit on the Loop in St. Louis, but never paid much attention to them. After buying the journal I visited the ugly doll web site and fell in love with them. I've decided that when Bean is a little older, and I understand his personality better I am going to buy him an ugly doll that personifies him. In the mean time I'm having way too much fun learning about all the different ugly doll characters.

Cousins

One of the benefits of living near family is the ability to create bonds that could never be forged over long distances.  My younger brother, Gunnar and his wife Janene, have a daughter who is 5 weeks older than Bean.  She was born two months premature, thus she looks younger than Bean, but when it comes to motor skills size doesn't matter.

Tuesdays Mom and I babysit Natalie while Gunnar is in class and Janene is at work.  I was trying to get both babies, Bean and Natalie, to lie down for a nap when Natalie reached under my arm and poked Bean.  I'm not sure if she realized what she was doing, but never the less it makes for a cute photo.

Well we have hit a new milestone!!! The little night terror ;) now sleeps through the night!!!  Yeah!!  I just needed to learn that if you put a heating pad in the crib before the baby goes to bed he will sleep better.
